Hotels near Fort Humboldt State Historic Park

"Delightful stay at this historic property. Great communication from the inn keepers with detailed emails and instructions. Mario walked us through the check in process and was extremely accomodating with the rooms for me and my son's stay. Rooms are well appointed, comfortable and clean. Beautiful view of the Carson Mansion directly across the street on a quiet residential cul de sac with some view of the water. Plenty of toiletry supplies in bathroom and a full kitchen with coffee/ tea bar downstairs. Would highly recommend, especially if you are fan of history, architecture and interesting places. Close to downtown Eureka and near Woodley Island. Don't miss Dick Taylor craft chocolate if you visit Eureka!"

"Too much noise from the room above."

"Everything was as expected. Got into the pool as soon as we checked in. It was basically empty. Glad we did that since in the evening it was packed. Breakfast was so-so. We got some fruit and yogurt to go to get back on the road."

"Parking was good; small parking lot but enough for all the guests; The check out process was a little weird. No human behind the desk - a virtual assistant that took the place of a hotel clerk. Breakfast was a bit unusual, there was a guy there with a clipboard checking names and asking what room the guests were in. ( seemed like fresh made pancakes, egg omelets, same size and style as the round pancakes, bagels, milk, cereal, fruit juices and something that smelled like coffee( very diluted). "

"I love the Eureka inn, but it has gone way downhill again. Have stayed here 100 nights in the past, won't again. Kind of bummed"

"Room was clean as well as the property. Staff was remote and checked us in via webcam but they were super nice and very professional. Very walkable area."
