"Receptionists and drivers (especially Ali) were very helpful and accommodating. We had a fantastic time here. Hotel food was amazing and the pool was nice and well maintained. Hard to get to supermarkets and convenience stores by foot, requires transport to get everywhere. Transfers were a little expensive, but readily available via the hotel"

"Nice hotel. Room was large and comfortable bed, but a bit dated. We got there a bit late 945pm, and the kitchen was closed with no room service available. They helped us order pizza delivery for dinner The in door pool was great, as was the spa. Nice outdoor pools as well but not heated. Breakfast was good"

The hotel facility has a pleasant inner courtyard, which was nice in a busy urban setting, and a good place for breakfast when the weather allows. "We enjoyed Donna Carmela so much we extended our stay by 2 days. All staff were gracious and helpful. We loved the sumptuous breakfast, gourmet restaurant for dinner, as well as the lounge and pool bars. After a day of sightseeing around Mt Etna and Taormina, we came back to the oasis of this lovely resort."

"We stayed here for 3 nights. It was a great place and the staff were fabulous. There were many great places to eat and see. It was only a 30 minute drive up to Mount Etna."

"Dated hotel."

"Amazing staff and a pleasant stay! "

"Wonderful staff especially the chef. The room was clean and bed made up between nights. Towels not replaced. The meals were excellent and reasonably priced. The chef worked very hard to make our stay wonderful. She was not only chef, but desk manager and waiter."

"Very nice and quiet place"

"It's our second time here, lovely. Get a massage while you're here, you won't regret it."

"Great staff and location"

"The staff was incredibly helpful. We needed to rent a car, have it delivered and returned to another location. They went up and beyond what was expected! Also, I had a wonderful massage and a fabulous lunch . We arrived late for reservation but still were able to get a sandwich and a drink. Wish that we could have stayed longer,!!"
