Maria at the front desk was absolutely wonderful! She made us feel very welcome, like family, even though we spoke mainly English. The property was located in such a great area of you’re looking for a quiet place to retreat after a day downtown (it’s is still walkable) Great stay, we will definitely stay here again

Perfect forio stay.

This is a beautiful hotel in forio. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The gardens are perfectly kept as are all the outside spaces. We loved our stay and vow to go back.

Great old school meets new school

Slightly old school (bad wifi and not pristine cleanliness if you're a germaphobe though my OCD girlfriend thought it was fine) abut loved it, amazing location, grounds and pool complex with thermal pools and plunge pool.

A lovely, aging hotel. Friendly hotel staff. About 3 staff speak English well or moderate. No wifi in the hotel rooms, only in the common areas. No outside food and drink allowed. While eco-friendly, the bathrooms are cleaned with what seems to be vinegar. Every morning, we woke up with a horrible stench coming from our bathroom and had to open terrace door and turn room AC fan on high to drive out the smell. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. The location was nice next to a beach, some yummy restaurants and botanical garden. It’s away from main tourist areas which was nice after the business of other Amalfi Coast locations. Breakfasts were yummy and served nicely outside.

Loved it here!!! As other reviews say, decor is a little dated but it adds to the charm. Pools were lovely and the hotel is 5 min walk from a public beach. 10/10 would stay here again if we return to Forio.

A Hidden Gem by the Sea

Hotel Zaro was the ideal choice for a truly relaxing holiday! It’s located in a quiet, peaceful area, right by the sea – the view is simply breathtaking. 🌅 The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made us feel at home from the very beginning. The hotel is also child-friendly, everything was just right for a comfortable stay with our little one. While it’s far from noise and crowds, it’s still within walking distance (about 20 minutes) from the charming streets of Forio. We came here to unwind, and the lack of Wi-Fi and mobile signal in the room actually helped us disconnect and fully recharge. We wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for calm, nature, and warm hospitality in a beautiful setting. 💛

Quattro stelle di qualche decade fa.

Hotel quattro stelle che vale un buon tre stelle superior o un 4 stelle degli anni ‘80. Stanza superior che di superiore aveva poco. Buona super colazione ma solo per i cornetti, per il resto molto scarna e con poca scelta. Bellissimo giardino , ma la struttura in sé avrebbe bisogno di un restyling o di maggiori servizi.

Eit nydelig opphold.

Eit nydelig opphold, hotellet ligg på ein god lokasjon på Ischia og parkanlegget er vakkert. Hotellet har ein del eigendyrka frukt og grønnsaker som blir brukt i mat, is og i drikker. Nærområdet har Negombo termepark med varme kilder (nydelig), sukulent- botanisk hage med konserter innimellom og ei fin strand med fleire restauranter (mot vest og nydelige solnedganger i havet). Sengene på hotellet var harde etter vår smak.
Inngangspartiet. Bratt brulagt veg frå ei lengre einvegskjørt gate.
Basseng med to varme basseng over.
Fine grøntområder.
Stranda like ved hotellet.

La camera è stata molto pulita e l’aria condizionata ha funzionato molto bene; quindi la camera rimanere sempre molto fresca. Mancavano comunque alcune cose importanti: il wifi in camera, la possibilità di prepare il caffè oppure fare bollire acqua. Il letto era molto dura. Insomma- comunque alla fine ci stava bene in camera. Nel corridoio c’era una discreta puzza di fogna. La colazione era un pochino triste e soprattutto il caffè non era buono. Veniamo alle cose buone: il giardino era molto bello e grande, bellissima la piscina.

The property is beautiful. Really gives you the holiday-vacation mood and has an incredible view. The staff is wonderful and everyone is so nice and stress free. My baby got really sick during our stay and the staff was wonderful. They called their in-house doctor to come over for a visit which was a relief after the nightmare at the hospital. The reception, every chance they got, they inquired about my baby and kept offering services. They were at our beck and call. They are amazing!!!
