"The room was clean. And was exactly what we expected based on the photos. The service was where I was most impressed. I forgot my apple watch in the room. I called while on the road from Yosemite to Sequoia NP and Christine took the time to personally check the room for my watch. Not once but twice when I called back to see if she checked some specific areas. She actually found my watch and is shipping it back to me! Thank you so much Christine! You sure made my day!❤️"

" June 2025 This was our second time staying here, and we still loved our stay as much as the first- maybe even more. We stayed at the lodge and enjoyed the coffee shop, smores, pool and even the game room. The onsite restaurant was quite good for dinner. Our king room was very spacious, comfortable, and clean. My only negative is the food/ drinks( non alcoholic) were quite pricey. The Pizza place that is onsite but not directly at the lodge was very expensive and our rigatoni literally came out in a microwaveable type plastic tin. I mean at least take the extra step and put it on a plate and add a splash of parmigiana cheese to make it look like some effort was made. However this was my only true negative and I would absolutely stay here again. Little FYI, although you are only 2 miles from the entrance, it is still another hour to the valley floor. Do not try to enter the park after 9:30-10 or the line backs up even past the lodge and it will take 2 hours to enter. "

"It’s an older motel but well kept for its age. Clerk was extremely friendly. Grounds were very well kept. Beds were comfortable. Lots of places to walk to to eat or get ice cream. Very cute town. Would stay again."

"Staff was low so breakfast wasn’t available but coffee, teas, and juices were all day. Staff was kind and very helpful. Area was charming around hotel and great place to come back to after Yosemite. Hotel is in the middle of some maintenance projects but overall a quaint and quiet place to stay. Water pressure was amazing!"

"Check-in was super easy and efficient. Every single front desk staff member we met was so kind and helpful. There’s a nice outdoor hot tub and pool, washer / dryer ($2 wash, $2.50 dry)—the front desk can exchange cash for quarters. We stayed here while doing Yosemite NP, it’s a bit of a drive (~1 hour) but not bad at all. "

"The deluxe tent cabin was nice, came with a private outdoor shower, which was not expected but still worked. The restroom was the shared campground restroom, no issues with that, it was clean and fairly close to the cabin. Cute little place that was great for an overnight stay. The front porch was a nice touch too. There is no heat or AC, but fans are there for use and you can open a couple windows. "
