"Pleasant stay, good walkable location "

"The room was terrific although the airconditioning was a bit noisy. Note that there is no elevator nor is there a guest self laundry in this hotel. It is a charming building built in the 1600s with nicely renovated bathrooms and comfortable beds. We didn’t try the breakfast and the coffee was a push button type so also didn’t try. As it is located down a dark, and not well travelled road I wouldn’t have wanted to stay there as a single person but my adult daughter and I managed fine.we were steps from the Roman amphitheatre and ruins. Near to the Saturday market and loads of coffee and other shops and restaurants. Be prepared for lots of stairs. I find if you book through an app such as this we always end up on the top floor and this meant 72 steps to our room! The clerk kindly carried my suitcase up and down. At my age I can’t do that. "

"Very conveniently located. Nice staff. Once more the duvets are too warm; a top sheet would be nice. If you open the windows your head is cold but your body is overheated under the duvet. This was the experience of both people."

"Sparkling clean room. Fab location with lovely view from the balcony. Super comfy bed and duvet. Nice breakfast. The best thing about Hotel Present Encore Mieux is the staff. They really do care about their guests and are incredibly kind and super responsive to guests. The nicest staff I've met in all my travels. This is a unique place to stay and I recommend without hesitation."
