"Nice, clean hotel. Close to everything!"

"The team was excellent and responded quickly to all questions or comments. The pool was clean and was in great shape for so early in the season. A small but satisfying comp breakfast with waffles, cereal, biscuits and gravy with assorted grits and oatmeal for the making. Juice and some decent coffee rounded out the meal. Located right next door to a decent Mexican Restaurant and a 24 hour convenient store that also has hot meals! Stayed 3 days .. 3 different times. Convenient to Tanger Outlets, OWA, and all the sporting events the city of Foley puts on!"

"Very friendly staff. The rooms are dated but served their purpose. The ceiling paint was peeling and bubbling which made it feel uneasy upon entrance."

"Had an issue with the first room we had brought the issue to the attention of the staff we were moved immediately. They staff was very responsive and we appreciated them taking action so quickly "

"This year's stay at Perdido Beach Resort was our first stay since change of ownership. The scenery was exquisite as always, and we noticed new additions to family friendly activities ! There's still many renovations in the world , but none that interfered with the atmosphere we enjoy during our stays. Many new faces , most of which had big smiles for all visitors . There were a few faces we missed, both as entertainment , and family members missing. There were only three of us this year. My mother who's 87yrs old & disabled, my 79yo aunt with late stage Parkinson's , and myself, who is also disabled , but thankfully, can still be the designated driver of our little family. Apparently, my spinal & knee disabilities were perceived by 1 waiter as alcohol induced. I had brought 1/2 a glass of wine from the bottle purchased the night before , down to the bar ,with plans of purchasing another bottle & rejoining my family already relaxing in our room. We were actually in the Coastal Art Museum Hot Shop blown glass class , that morning & visiting family, since this was possibly the last chance we'll ever have to all vacation together. And my recent spinal surgery affects my gait & ability to stand up quickly. It can cause me to vear to the left at about 45,° and at times, & can cause uncontrolled tremors in arms. I will be wheelchair bound within the next couple years, so I'm trying to enjoy the little time I can still stand without assistance, no matter how clumsy it may"

"In a great area and rooms/balcony were clean as advertised. WiFi worked great and the view from the balcony was beautiful. Staff were super friendly and helpful. My partner said breakfast was pretty good too. However, the pool isn’t really heated (a few fountains are but not the whole pool) and housekeeping left dirty linens that weren’t ours outside our door for a whole day. While the beach is close and visible from balconies, you do need to go through multiple “private” condos to get to the actual beach. The condos are restricted access so pass at your own risk. The public access point is a bit down the street away from the hotel (we drove) Other than that really nice place my partner and I enjoyed and would go back to!"

"There were many room choices on the hotels.com website for this hotel (Embassy Suites) but when we arrived the staff had selected a different room type for our stay OTHER THEN WHAT WE HAD SELECTED through Hotels.com. Even while I presented PRINTED DOCUMENTED PROOF of their error the staff responded that the 1) hotel was full, 2) we booked through a third party, and 3) that they could move us to room with LESS amenities and less cost but would NOT refund the price difference we had already paid in advance. UNBELIEVABLE. I contended with them while the guests I brought with me waited (patiently) with a baby until I negotiated and came up with an less than reasonable compromise which included staying in the room I did not order on the first night AND THEN MOVE to the type of room we originally requested the next day. The hotel staff would not deduct and refund any funds for their error on the first night or offer us anything to make up for their error and refused to give us a needed extended stay on the day we were checking out. UNBELIEVABLE During the stay, the front desk staff were very put out having to handle amenities listed on the hotel’s website, wanting only to handle reservations. Additionally, when the WIFI connection was not working in the lobby area in order to order out for food the front desk staff would not help in any way which left us having TO PAY FOR A WIFI CONNECTION in order to complete our order. The breakfast, pool, housekeeping staff were great."
