Top Floyd Hotel Reviews

Hyatt Place Blacksburg / University

10/10 Excellent

"Great location, close to campus and easy access to everything. Cleaned, spacious rooms and bedding was very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!"

Comfort Inn & Suites Hillsville I-77

8/10 Good

"A really nice hotel at a great price. Easy and convenient, right off the highway. We were barely there for 10 hours, and did not get to use/enjoy any of the amenities. My only concern was that some of the common areas were not as clean as expected, especially the elevator."

Hotel Floyd

10/10 Excellent

"We were very happy with our stay at the Hotel Floyd. The room, while simple in decor, was very spacious compared to name brand hotels. We appreciated that the room furnishings were mostly created from reclaimed wood from the area. All areas of the room were clean which is very important to us. Breakfast, served in a nice sized dining area, consisted of eggs, grits, toast, sausage, coffee, juice, and more. We loved that the hotel was within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, and entertainment. The little farmers market was less than a 5 minute walk. The only thing that could be improved is the quality of the mattresses in the room. They weren’t horrible but you could feel every movement if your spouse turned in the night. We enjoyed our stay and will return again."
