A lovely stay at the Orto De Medici Hotel with my daughter. On arrival the staff were very helpful including the breakfast staff and bar staff. Room and hotel was very clean and comfortable. A Sleek and Tranquil Oasis in the Heart of Florence: I stayed in a superior double room with a small balcony overlooking the garden. The interior is overall very clean, and the design is sleek and beautifully understated. The air conditioning functioned perfectly, keeping the room completely comfortable. The staff are welcoming and always ready to help. Breakfast on the terrace is wonderfully refreshing. It is very quiet and comfortable both day and night. The San Marco Museum and a tram station are just around the corner, making it incredibly convenient. The welcome when we arrived was professional and friendly. They had popsicles to take due to the heat. The breakfast buffet was incredible. Lots to choose from including champagne and ingredients to make Bloody Mary’s. The room was just the right size for a couple travelers. The elevator is small but that’s to be expected and it worked great. Location is good for walking, very close to lots of shopping and the statue of David.
