I had a hard time hearing the host when I asked if we could leave our bags before 15:00. I thought they said someone would meet me with the key because they were still cleaning. They let us in the first door. We waited in a dark room, no one showed up. I called again. I was told that no one was there and were supposed get the key out of a mailbox. It was too dark to be able to see the names on the mailboxes to find the key. We had to use the light on our phone to read them and it wasn't easy. Other than that, the place was very nice and cool. However my one son had a reaction to an odor in the apartment, possibly from a cleaning agent. It triggered his asthma. He was fine when we weren't in the apartment. Not some much while we were in the apartment. It's a beautiful place, located near everything you need to get around Florence. Loved the bar/pastry shop across the street!
