Love this hotel. You can’t hear anything outside it’s quiet, the breakfast is so good! They gave us a complimentary bottle of chianti and snacks when we arrived. I will definitely book again.

Wonderful, unique hotel. Loved the room and the staff were fantastic. The downside was the noise of students gathering on the steps every evening and also sad to see homeless sleeping in the area across the plaza.

Unlike almost every other hotel we stayed at on our trip, the AC worked well to combat the steamy days! Also, the staff was amazingly helpful in finding us a transfer to the airport during a train strike. Will stay here again for our next visit.

We had a wonderful one night stay in this hotel for our family of 4. It was a beautiful and calm and cool Oasis. The room was beautifully cleaned by Maria and the property was beautifully looked after. We loved the breakfast and location with only a short walk to the Duomo. The staff were very helpful. We would stay here again if in Florence.

The property was the perfect location for us. It was a 17 minute walk from the train station, close to the Duomo and other attractions and good food. Loved the energy and history of the building. The air conditioning was pretty good too. There were only two slight downfalls: We stayed in the Annex and they want you to leave your keys with the front desk every time you leave the building - so it was a bit of an inconvenience. The second issue was the toilet - took us a while to figure it out, you have to “pump” the button like you’re priming a well pump.

It is a very cozy authentic style hotel. Service staff was excellent. Bed very confortable. One thing that is not hotel’s fault is the outside front area of the hotel. It does not give same good impression as the indoor area of the hotel.

The room was clean, but unfortunately, it was very old and dated. From the photos, the hotel looks charming, but in reality, it didn’t quite match our expectations. There were water stains on the ceiling, and the bathroom and shower were in poor condition. The building itself also felt quite old and in need of renovation. The location was convenient, but there were homeless people in the square nearby, and there was garbage outside the main entrance that remained there and was not cleaned up, which gave a poor first impression. The breakfast was good and was one of the highlights of the stay. However, some of the amenities had an unpleasant smell, which affected the overall experience. The room also became quite warm during the night because the air conditioning was turned off. Overall, the stay was okay, but considering the condition of the room, the facilities, and the surroundings, I felt it was overpriced. The convenient location and good breakfast were the main positives.

Loggiato dei Serviti is a beautifully restored historic building on a lovely, historic piazza. The location is wonderful - just down the street from the Duomo. Breakfast in the morning has an array of choices - cheese, meat, eggs, cereal, fruit, pastry- everything I could want. This is a wonderful place to stay when in Florence.
