Really beautiful hotel with a lot of character. Easy to walk to all the action. Only a few mins from the Duomo. staff were friendly and breakfast was lovely. Overall a great stay in a small boutique hotel. Would recommend. Our room was very quiet at night too.

Less than a 20 minute walk from the train station is definitely an asset. But the friendliness of the staff, the excellent breakfast and the historic building itself are great benefits to boot. Close to the usual historical sites, there are also plenty of places to eat within a 5 to 10 minute walk. The part of the building where the hotel is located is itself a historic building (convent and orphanage from the early 17th to approx. the 19th century. In one word: “great”. I would definitely return to the hotel should I be traveling to Florence again.
