"This was my third stay at the Silver Surf motel, I just love it! My two kids and I have been meeting up with my mom and aunt every year in adjoining rooms. It's very rustic, so if your looking for luxury, this is not the place for you. But if you're looking for a rustic, take cozy place to call home right on the beach, look no further!
This place has comfy beds, and functional kitchenette making it feel more like a rental house than a motel. The kids love the indoor pool and the adults look forward to a nice long hot tub soak after a blustery day on the beach (we go in December). The lobby has ganes and videos you can borrow. Breakfast id included, which is appreciated. Pretty basic, no waffle maker but descent pre-packaged food and a couple different cereals to choose from.
Definitely recommend, and will absolutely stay again.

"Not a very nice place. Grumpy old guy. Dated furnishings. The beds were up on blocks of wood on which i stubbed my toe and bled everywhere. We did a 7 night road trip and this was the the worst place. Would not recommend. "
"We loved our stay here. The room was clean and in good shape. The view was amazing! The Driftwood Shores Bistro was a highlight. The food was great and the service friendly. Our only gripes were that they ran out of coffee and the people above us had a really loud toddler. "
"The room smelled, it was because we had our dogs, so we were placed in the specific dog rooms. We were charged 25 per dog. Which did not specify, but that's happened before. So. I wasn't surprised. We wanted to leave, but because I paid on expedia, we were stuck. It was old, outdated and needed some repairs. I didn't use the internet, so I'm not sure how fast the service was. To be honest, I would not stay here again. "
"Kari made everything amazing. We showed up a little earlier than check in and she made everything super accomodating. She went above and beyond gathering extra bedding for my son delivering everything while my daughter and I enjoyed the jacuzzi. Breakfast was hot and had more options than many other places we've stayed. Overall it was perfect for our little family. Clean, affordable, central location with a market directly next door for any and all snack needs. Thanks Kari!"
