We enjoyed this location and the view from our room. I highly reccomend paying for the room with the Duomo View and its own bathroom, otherwise you are sharing bathrooms with other guests. Hearing other guests come and go in the hallways was much louder than expected. Staff was great!!

The view of the duomo was very nice. Clean, simple room. Perfect for what we needed. Check in and out was very easy. Very accessible in the center of the city. Long walk up the stairs but that’s expected. Would return here.

I stayed at Guest House Bel Duomo in Florence for three nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The biggest advantage of this guest house is definitely its location. It is extremely central, located right at the famous Duomo Square next to Florence Cathedral, and less than a 10-minute walk from Firenze Santa Maria Novella railway station. This made it very easy to explore Florence on foot and conveniently arrive from the train station. The building itself is quite old and does not have an elevator. Because of that, carrying luggage and going up to the third floor via relatively steep stairs can be a bit challenging. The room was also somewhat dated and had an external bathroom, which took a little time to get used to. However, this was clearly mentioned during the booking, so it was not a surprise. On the positive side, both the room and the bathroom were extremely clean and were cleaned every day. The reception staff were also exceptionally kind and helpful, and I received a very warm welcome when I arrived. Overall, the guest house offers a simple but clean stay in an unbeatable location with very friendly service.

The room was nice and the location can not be beat. It's close to everywhere you want to be, and we absolutely loved the city. The room itself is simple, and all you really need if you aren't staying there much. The baclony is small but pleasant if you don't mind heights. However, read the reviews about the stairs, there are so many stairs! Lol. We read this and knew about it, but the reality is that in July the stairs are no fun.
