Hotel Riu Vallarta - All Inclusive

"We had a pleasant six-day stay at the Riu Vallarta. While our room was satisfactory, we did encounter several instances of roaches during our visit. The pool water was very hot, which made it challenging to fully enjoy given the humid weather conditions. The food was acceptable. The beach, however, was beautiful and impeccably clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the shows and parties organized by the animation team; they were truly excellent."

"Beds were so uncomfortable that after 3 days I couldn’t stand my back pain. I heard several other guests complain about the same issue. I would sink into the mattress which made my back hurt. I slept in the middle of the bed which was a bit firmer for 1 night then ended up sleeping on the foot of the bed for the last 3 nights since this was the firmest part."

"I would recommend to confirm the booking and prices with the property. Have a confirmation with the property. I booked through expedia and owed the property the remaining amount when arrived at check in. The property did not have the correct information took over 3 hrs to check in. The property overcharged when checking in than emailed 1 day later saying we still had an outstanding bill. I contacted expedia who confirmed All the amounts charged and received. Than to find out the $500us credit per room is not a credit they are coupons that have stipulations on using them. I had to wait to get home to clear everything with expedia and to be credited the over payments back and the false advertising of the $500us. The resort took no accountability and blamed expedia. The pool/restaurant staff were polite- food was good. The room was average."

"Food was good. Cleaning crew rush to clean room therefore they don't clean well. We saw a roach in the closet. I also think the really need to implement the rule of no food in the pool. Family pool is durty."

"A well managed property with mid level ammenities which provide good and adequate services ( food, beverages, etc..) Due to the low season and subsequent lower occupancy; restaurants were rotated daily on and off, it was somewhat puzzling to determine which was going to be opened or closed in the evening. All in all a great place"
