"We did not have a good stay. Our room smelled musty. When I sat on the bed, it was broke and looked like someone tried to fix it horribly. Our tv would not work so we had to call maintenance. The outlet by the bed was coming out of the wall so the lamp would not stay turned out. Highly disappointed. "

"Right on the boardwalk, next to the beach. Hotel is aging and pets leave some traces behind. Great location with plenty of dining options. Surrounding area was under construction but most needs are within walking distance. Good not great."

"Great stay with my dog. Walkable to beach and many small businesses. Be aware that Flagler Beach has specific areas where leashed pets are allowed on the beach. Also be aware of hotel pet limitations. At the time of my booking, only the deluxe rooms allowed pets. So in addition to the pet fee, you have to select a more expensive deluxe room. In the room descriptions, "pets allowed" will be listed under amenities of the individual room type on hotels.com."

"We had a partial ocean view room so the description was accurate. With being a partial view, it met my expectations. The room was clean, the bed was a little softer than I prefer, but wasn't horrible. The shower was nice. "

"Clean room, wasn’t busy, all rooms are ocean view. Beach in front of the maverick is never crowded compared to others, massive pool was never crowed, huge pool deck and patio, fire pit and 4 commercial BBQs to make your own meals was great. Hot tub was large and there was a kiddy pool. 5 mins from Daytona beach attractions. The rooms are good. Sometimes they may smell a little different from the previous guest. Overall the rooms are a 3.5/5. But they have been updated. Hotel seems to be booked 50/50 by families with kids and retirees. Overall our family had a great time."
