"Outside of the room, it looks rundown but once in the room, it was fine. It was perfect for a couple of nights. Bed was crisp and comfy. But the walls are thin and you can hear everything in the hallway. I didn't have breakfast but I checked it out and it had a very small selection: hard boiled eggs, bagels, mini muffins, toast, cereal & yogurt. Coffee was alright. A little on the weak side for my taste."

"The hotel was clean and our room was very spacious. We were in the area to visit West Point and the location was not super-convenient. The drive time to West Point was more than 30 minutes over twisty roads - very nice when the weather was good, but dicey during pouring rain."

"the room was OK. The luggage cart was essentially unusable(I had a lot of luggage). For the life of me, I couldn't figure out what was what with the tv. The guide was basically undecipherable. The bed was very nice. The air conditioning was quite loud. So loud in fact that i had to turn it off despite it being august and quite warm. There was a bit of back mold in the bathroom and the floor could have been vacuumed better. All in all, it wasn't terrible, but it wasn't enough to make me choose Holiday Inn over some of the other more consistent competitors."

"First impressions tend to carry throughout my stay. Unfortunately, my first impression was not great at Hyatt House. A surly front desk agent just stared at me as I walked. Continued staring as I walked up to the desk. And then I said “hello.” Instead of saying hello back, he said: “Check-in isn’t until 4 PM so I can’t guarantee a room is available.” It was about 3:10 and I had not mentioned anything about early check-in. A “hi!” or a “welcome” or any permutation of these two words would have been great. But, instead of hospitality, all I felt was cold. Fortunately, the rest of stay was decent: clean, recently updated rooms; decent amenities (though body lotion would be nice); friendly housekeeping staff; and great coffee (though the buffet is a must-miss). The front desk almost redeemed itself when I left when a very friendly agent checked me out. Too bad that when you have a surly agent at check-in and a friendly agent at check-out that the overall impression is “meh.” Worse: this is my fourth time staying here and it’s pretty much plateaued at “meh.” Time to check out the Hilton Garden Inn just a few hundred feet away."

"Rooms are not rooms they are small apartments with full kitchens dish washers oven stove microwave full size fridge. Living room with big tv. Comfy bed and all in all great place"

"Clean room, I have a down allergy that is severe. They made sure my room was down free and clean. My only complaint with the hotel, is the food could be better. Breakfast wasn't great and the food in the bar wasn't good."
