"Beautifully maintained historical property with a modern spacious suite. Restaurant was exceptional. Booked this on recommendation of other reviews and was not disappointed. Only regret is we only stayed one night. Definitely recommend"

"The greatest benefit to this property is the amazing location But the rest of it should be viewed as a camping experience or a week in basic accommodation in Greece lol Some of the neighbours were very noisy slamming doors and someone was smoking weed in a room near us as it stank the whole corridor out Don't expect too much and you should be ok We would stay here again but I would have to get them to sort out shower tap as it was nearly impossible to turn it on or off . No one touched our stuff in the fridge in the kitchen just make sure its working first as one of them wasn't"

"We had a lovely stay at Portavadie for 2 nights in one of the cottages. The setting is fantastic, the pools are well maintained and warm and the gym is well equipped for a good workout. The only criticism would be that the cottages are quite dated and could do with a bit of a facelift to compliment the price tag."
