Northwoods Best Inn - Chetek

"Stayed overnight for a Roadtrip. Served its purpose we'll. Very basic, clean, and comfortable. Pool looked clean, but we didn't use it. Weird quirk is one light switch secretly controls half of the rooms power. (Bedside lights, fridge, lower outlet by the bed, but not the top one lol)..but no one tells you that. I was so confused and ultimately asked for another room. That is when I was told, "you didn't turn on the light switch by the door." Should have been told at check in, but easy fix. Parking is convenient. Breakfast looked basic. All in all, great value and no red flags. Would stay there again."

"Everything is always so great here. It's clean, the breakfast is good! The elderly gentleman helping with breakfast is so nice. Jay at the front desk is always the best!! The dinner restaurant has amazing food, and the bartenders are so friendly. I've stayed many times and it's always #1."

"The hotel is older, but in good condition and clean. The staff were helpful. I would probably have stayed again, but the day I left, my credit card was hacked. I was in Ladysmith for a few days before I checked out and had no issues when I used the credit card at other places, but the day I checked out, I was hacked and had to get a new card. Since I've not stayed there before and have not had this happen before, I may consider it a coincidence."
