Blue Seas Holiday Villas

"Blue Seas holiday villa, had amazing views of the sea and river. The villa was beautiful, it had great furniture and many extra touches. Very relaxing and very central to all the beautiful scenery. Just loved the sea views. Michelle and Dean, were lovely hosts, so friendly and helpful."
Diamond Island Resort & Penguin viewing

"The room was clean and spacious. The view was breathtaking and the walking areas were stunning for nature lovers like me. I his would be the best comfortable stay in Bicheno that you can get The bed was slightly uncomfortable in terms of the price we paid . The advertised penguin viewing is underwhelming and the best viewing areas were cordoned off in the evening leading to 5-6 penguins maximum available for viewing. Ideally , this should be open for resort guests as this is too close to the venue and we have paid premium for the stay . The other operator has a monopoly and we are stuck if we cannot get the booking from that operator"
Beachfront At Bicheno

"We had a sea view twin. Room was small. The hotel has a house rule of no toasters but does have a guest kitchen with toaster, microwave and sandwich maker. The room only has cups. So if you go to the guest kitchen and cook some toast or food you have to stand in the guest kitchen to eat. As the house kitchen rules are you can not remove any item from the kitchen (that would include the plates bowls etc). It would be far better and more convenient for guests to include a toaster and small plates and bowls. One other negative is the unsupervised children running all over the front lawn. As the hotel adjoins a pub. We stayed on a Wednesday night and the children were playing until 9pm so I’m guessing Friday and Saturday nights would be worse. They were playing directly in front of the unit and calling out to guests in the hotel. Which made it difficult to sit outside to quietly enjoy the sea view. The pub next door has a bistro. We didn’t eat there."

"Amazing stay. This property exceeded our expectations by far. Cute, clean, unique, lots of character. All the amenities you need and more. Great beach access. Friendly communication with the owner. No complaints whatsoever; we would love to stay again"

"Unexpectedly was upgraded to the 2 bedroom unit. Very spacious main bedroom. Kitchen with stove, oven and microwave and a large fridge. The host left little touches like chocolates and a bottle of milk. We an excellent getaway was had. Close to shops (walking distance for those fit people)"
