"Santa Maria Navarrese is a great location and the hotel is very central, on the corner of the main square. Plenty of gelato options and food nearby. The beach is 2 minutes walk and the path takes you past the best of the beach bars. The beach is pebbly, so best to take sea shoes, but the water is really clear and there are plenty of fish if you snorkel out 10-20m or so. The hotel staff are really friendly and the owners always greet you with a smile and a cheery bon giorno. I would not hesitate...

"Cosa Dorado is charming and unique. It is situated at the end of the main road in town right across from the water. It is a perfect location. The only issue is you do not have free parking and you have to pay to park in a lot next to the hotel. I absolutely loved the style of the hotel. There are a lot of garden and grounds and every day there was a gardener tending to it. The rooms are large and super quaint. Very northern european feel with antiques and objects. Right at the center of Dorgali (plenty of shops, restaurants and artisans walking distance) and few minutes to Cala Gonone by car. Personnel super friendly, kind, efficient and helpful. Abundant and delicious breakfast. We would definitely come back for another trip to Dorgali or Cala Gonone wonderful beaches"
