Best hotel in wexford

I look for this hotel all the time because i believe its the best one in wexford. Noise proof, clean, friendly staff, food is beautiful, swimming pool is perfect, parking is ideal.

Excellent stay. Great to see bin separation in the bedrooms. We hall have to help the environment by doing our bit of recycling and the Ferrycarrig Hotel are certainly doing their part. Staff very friendly bar the breakfast host but perhaps he was having a bad day! Pool area clean and everything was working! Overall a brilliant stay thank you

We arrived early at the hotel, and were able to check in, although our room wasn't ready. We were greeted by very friendly staff at reception. Ann was particularly friendly. After a coffee in the bar/restaurant we went off exploring. We received a text to say that our room was ready, but we were enjoying Wexford town, so returned later. Parking was easy. Our large room had a great view over the river. The room was comfortable & clean with good facilities, as was the bathroom. We had dinner in the Dry Dock Bar, a little pricey, but delicious. Breakfast was a hot & cold buffet with lots of choice. Overall a great stay.

The only issue i had was the distance from the room to the facilities as i have breathing issues, but that was entirely my fault for not mentioning this at the outset. I certainly would mentiin that if i stay again. The overall facilities were wonderful

Great stay, very friendly staff. Bar staff couldn't really understand us though....breakfast staff were on it- amazing. Loud music at 7am coming from the dance studio, not what you want when you are grieving a friend and attending a funeral.

Lovely hotel, rooms with a river view were spacious and with good facilities. The bed was very uncomfortable sadly and the pillows quite lumpy. Overall good though and great location.

The Ferrycarrig Hotel must be a fantastic place to work as I could not believe how friendly and helpful each member of staff was. The staff went over and above to make our stay comfortable and the service was 5 star. The only issue I had was that the TV in our room did not work, but this was a minor inconvenience as the weather was beautiful so instead of watching tv, I spent time sitting on the balcony looking out at the fabulous scenery.

Great views

Comfortable room wit ha deck and views of the estuary. Unfortunately we had a noisy extractor fan (presumably from the kitchen) close to our deck. Next time we will ask for a fifth floor room. Food in the bar was very good although wine choice was very small. This may improve when the main restaurant is open. Breakfast was good both in choice and in quality. The coffee could be better though. Double espresso was passable but not very strong or very full flavoured.
