"We used this Hotel as a stop over for one night on our travels around Europe. We are British, they spoke perfect English and made us feel welcome. The rooms and en suits were large with a safe, hairdryer etc everything that top hotels offer. Reserved us a table at the best restaurant on the lake which was some of the best food and wine ever tasted. The breakfast was great at the hotel so all together one of our best stops. "The hotel was set in a beautiful area, very picturesque. The hotel and rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable and the facilities were good. Pool was a nice place to relax ( pool was cold but actually really nice once you got in). The food in the restaurant was delicious would definitely recommend. Some of the service wasn’t amazing (especially at the bar) however nothing drastic that would put us off returning. Thank you for a nice stay."

"Our stay at Borgo Mandoleto was towards the end of a couple of week sin Italy. What a great way to wind up the trip! Donnatella and he husband are marvelous! Donnatella is a wonderful cook, I highly recommend eating with them at every opportunity. The property is just outside of the small village of Solomeo, near Perugia. It is quiet and relaxing. We made friends with Mema, the kitty in residence, and she was fine company as well. There is a beautiful pool, unfortunately it was too early...
