"We did. It use the pool because we are between seasons . The room was very nice. Clean and comfy. The best was the wonderful welcome from Julie and Olivier ! They are so nice and great hosts "
"We were fortunate enough to stay in one of the tents. Well equipped and comfortable with very agreeable surroundings. Great cycling nearby. The bathroom was good, heating was welcome at this time of year, and I’m sure the air conditioning would be welcome during the sunnier months. Parking was adequate and the place was quiet, and a great place to have a little getaway. The region is beautiful. Certainly at this time of year it was excellent value and great fun. All the staff were friendly and super helpful. The pool was great, even in October. "
"The cleaners had left the door open during a rain storm so the living room had a huge puddle and the curtains had soaked up the water and it smelled awful.
Also we had asked for a baby cot in advance and reconfirmed the day before but there was no cot meaning there was nowhere for our child to sleep - would not stay here again "
"We loved the Provence region and particularly being out of the busy towns during the summer high tourist season. Definitely need a car there. We flew into Avignon and drove the car to the hotel, as well as drove around during our stay. The hotel was amazing, almost like having an apartment with a separate room for the kids. It was so peaceful and tucked away. Kids loved the 'pool', the small heated one, which is referred to as the hot tub. There is a much larger pool, but much too cold for our Florida kids :) We ate dinner at the restaurant 1 night and it was very good. You are supposed to make reservations ahead of time, which we didn't realize. They fit us in as it was our arrival night. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. The main village of Sault is only 10 to 15 minute drive away, and you pass through it to get to the hotel. And, big plus, there is a grocery market about a 5 minute drive away. We had a full kitchen and living area, so we cooked dinner a couple nights and stayed in after touring the area during the day. In terms of other miscellaneous info, there was a small playground with swings and a slide. The main office had a lot of brochures and info about the area. There is a detached room/building for self laundry services. Overall, we all loved this location!"
"The grounds of this property are very beautiful--the pool, the breakfast area, gorgeous. This is a very beautiful area as well. The room itself doesn't match the grounds--ours was built like a small mobile home instead of a permanent structure. It was very tiny and not particularly comfortable. We pack light, but if you have a lot of belongings it will be very crowded in there.
Our cabin had two tiny bathrooms; one was cleaned and prepared for us, but the other one still had the previous guests' garbage in it, and it was not restocked with soap, etc. Not a big deal, but when I mentioned it as we checked out they didn't seem surprised about this oversight, so that made me wonder about the general cleanliness of the rooms.
Again, the grounds are truly beautiful here, and the pool was so nice and very enjoyable with a gorgeous view. Just a mismatch between room quality and property quality. I do feel this is priced a bit high after seeing the room itself. "
