"Basic French mountain accommodation. Good set up with friendly helpful staff. Avoriaz is pretty cool, loads of amenities. Stayed here for summer MTB, would probably stay again. Little bit tired in apartment but that’s standard unless you’re paying top end."

This is the first time this has ever happened checking in and being asked if I have the sheets and it will be 12 eruo for each bed and to top it off I had to clean it myself or pay them to clean my room. We have been on many vacations never have we been charged extra for them to clean the room. And fyi the room was not that clean when we got there with panties in the trash can. "The night I arrived the entry codes worked however, there was someone else in my assigned room. It was late in the evening, and I called the hotel support. Luckily, [and by chance] they were able to get me into another room [which was not what I had reserved]. The light in the bathroom did not work. "It was off-season so hardly anyone was there. My room was terrific with a mini-sauna on the deck. Staff was very friendly. Easy walk into town with the plenty of dining options (during the season that is). A very nice place and a great stay. "

"The staff were fabulous!! The breakfast was really good and has the best outlook over the lake. Nice and close to the train. The only minor thing was we couldn't find the air con the first night and it was really hot in the room so we needed to open the windows. It was close to midnight and had been up and travelling since 6am when we checked in so we were too tired to try and find out whether the room didn't have it. It was hidden behind the curtain and on the floor, in other places the air con is up high because cool air sinks and also behind a curtain doesnt really help with air flow. A really minor thing but it could be good to have the room cool before check in or advice on how to operate as it was ~30 degrees at the time. "
