"Borgo del Sol was just as advertised. We enjoyed our stay in the quiet countryside and the pool was an lovely amenity. Any request we made to Luce, our host, was replied to immediately. There were mosquitoes in the room...be prepared with spray or even if the hotel provided nets it would have helped a lot. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to relax in a quiet, quaint atmosphere. Lots of things to see and do within a 10 minute drive."

"Sehr gepflegte Anlage. Die Hausdame spricht sehr gut Englisch, ist unglaublich hilfsbereit, herzlich und ganz reizend. Das Deluxe Studio ist fantastisch, die Terasse ist riesig. Da es eine Spülmaschine gibt, wäre etwas mehr Besteck wünschenswert. Wir hatten nur 3 Sets. Hinter der Anlage liegt eine Firma mit LKWs die sehr früh mit den Arbeiten beginnt, was durchaus nervig sein kann. Da wir tagsüber unterwegs waren, war uns das egal, wer den Tag auf der sehr schönen Terrassen verbringen will,...

"Hotel moderno, habitaciónes comidas a 600 metros del centro histórico. La piscina y el gym son muy pequeños. La atención del personal es muy buena y con una sonrisa. Al momento del check el 5 de junio a las 11 am, la señorita que nos atendió fue super amabable, no así su compañero que estaba sentado a su lado en el front desk, que fue descortés. Pero fue la excepción. Alexandro por la noche super amable y atento también."

"Unfortunately, our stay was a little disappointing. Palazzo Columbo is an annex, away from all the hotel’s facilities, which was not made clear on either Expedia or the hotel’s own website. I’m also not convinced we received the room category we booked. The room had a broken toilet seat, and given the annex has only four rooms, basic amenities like a kettle and coffee maker should be provided. Breakfast was very underwhelming with tiny portions and poor quality a limit of three items, and even fresh juice costing an extra €5. It simply wasn’t good value. Service was inconsistent throughout. At check-in, I was incorrectly told I had booked room only, despite having paid for breakfast. At checkout, my request for help with luggage down a spiral staircase was reluctantly made because staff were busy, making reasonable requests feel like an inconvenience. The main buildings are beautiful, but the overall experience didn’t live up to the property’s appearance."

"The view of the sea was spectacular. The entire property and room were in excellent condition and very clean. The daily breakfast was amazing and the terrace cookout was superb, especially the wine. Each employee went went above and beyond, from front desk, dining staff to housekeeping."

"The hotel is beautiful. The room was spacious, spotless, and recently renovated. The location is convenient, and the pool is very nice. Unfortunately, the breakfast was extremely limited, I’ve honestly never seen such a poor breakfast selection at a hotel of this level. The hotel also seems understaffed. From 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., there is absolutely no food or beverage service available, no lunch, no bar, nothing. There is a rooftop bar, but it only operates from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., which is a surprisingly short window. Overall, while the property itself is beautiful, the lack of food and beverage options and the limited service significantly impacted our stay."
