"I’m not sure why this resort has such poor reviews. First thing to note, the hotels.com map shows that the hotel is in the centre of Favignana town. This isn’t the case. It’s some kilometres away on the other side of the island. €16 in a taxi. The resort was built in the 70s but has obviously had a fairly extensive refurb in recent years. "the only annoying thing was the lack of english skills of the staff making it somewhat difficult to communicate, but they were all very nice and the fact that dinner was not served before 8pm, which is quite late; otherwise very chill and laid back vibe, nice pool, big rooms, amazing breakfast, good coffee, we enjoyed our stay and could imagine staying even longer"
