"Cave Bianche is situated in an old quarry, its attractive buildings made from the tufa stone, which was quarried here. The grounds are attractively landscaped, there is a beautiful pool - and bar - and the staff are solicitous and friendly. Colazione is the standard Italian fare, included in the room price. "The hotel is far from the port but the hotel offer a free shuttle pick up and drop off. The location is secluded but beautiful. Hard to get around without a bike, scooter or car. They have a sister hotel with a nice pool which you can visit. The room was small the single bed was tiny. Not extremely comfortable but fine for one night. The breakfast wasn’t labelled so I struggled as a vegetarian. "

"The hotel has a great location, but bad management. The place is wrecked, everything is rusted and VERY old. The double beds are actually 2 single mattresses, so if you are a couple prepare to fall between the gap. There is no Wi-Fi in rooms or anywhere near them. You have to go to reception, and it's limited even at hours with no one around. Took me 15 mins each time to download emails. The staff are all really unfriendly/not helpful even if you speak Italian. You can't pay with cash but...
