"We loved this place from the moment we pulled into the parking area. When Angela greeted us in the reception area, we knew it was going to be a special stay. She offered us some team and gingerbread cookies and gave us a quick tour of the facilities. OMG, what a wonderful place. We travel a lot, this place is magical. So peaceful and quiet, we overslept in the morning (very unusual for us). Just lovely. "

"Check in was easy. Staff went over and above. After I came back to hotel from the Fatima procession I was in extreme pain in my back and the elevator was being cleaned and we were told we needed to use the stairs. I explained I was in pain and the front desk told me I could use the service elevator - my room was on the 4th floor. We also asked for ice in the morning to put in my freezer bag and they gave me twice the amount I needed. Definitely will recommend this hotel. "

"The website should be updated to show that all of the spa facilities are CLOSED with no status about their re-opening. Also the restaurant on site is only for your buffet breakfast it’s not for you to order lunch or dinner. The rooms were pretty “sparse” but the beds and bedding. Dry very good. We slept well."
