These structures on top of houses are natural air conditioners, they capture the slightest breeze and funnel it down to the living area which pushes the warm air out of the house.
This is a photo taken while flying from Dubai to Oslo. I was looking for this shot for a while as one of my friends has taken some beautiful photos here. This region is completely filled with this kind of mountains and it is really nice to see. Don't forget to book a window seat and grab some beautiful pictures if you are flying over Iran.
