"We had a great 3 night stay at Guest Mar. The staff were super friendly and helpful - the breakfast was delicious and it was very handy to be able to use the kitchen throughout the day. Comfortable bed and a good shower. Space was a bit tight in our room, but it was workable. We made use of the shared spaces - rooftop, kitchen and reading room. All in all a lovely guesthouse."

When we booked a deluxe room we thought it was a hotel but in actual fact it was a room in a shared apartment wihin a very private residential block. "We had an amazing stay at Vila Milreu! We were made to feel very welcome even when we arrived really late. The staff are brilliant and extremely friendly. The hotel is gorgeous, especially the pool area. The grounds are beautiful. The whole hotel had a relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious and filling with plenty of different foods to choose from. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay again if we were in the area."

"Wonderful place to stay. Chantale et Jean Paul very sweet, welcoming, extremely helpful and attentive. Truly a boutique hotel in best sense of the word. An oasis in the area of quiet, calm, peaceful garden with fruit trees, replete with an excellent cat. Breakfast superb!! Healthy even with fruit from the garden with something specially home made every morning. A high point of our trip. Shower excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
