"This is a beautiful authentic property. On my first visit I was given a lovely bright room. The rooftop cafe-restaurant is blissful. I love the unique architecture and design and art. Staff is OK but not Thai or Japan standard (must be honest). The location is not walkable, but Dakar is not the most walkable place outside a few blocks in the Plateau. The small restaurant produces excellent food, which was a nice surprise. I've stayed at four different hotels in Dakar just on this visit and this is outstanding and memorable."

The gym is new but small and seems to be shared with nearby residents. The breakfast buffet is fine and with many options but perhaps where a few improvements could be made. Overall a great stay in a nice neighborhood."
