"We met Chris upon our arrival. He was friendly and assisted us with entering our cabin because we never received an email with the necessary code. The room was spacious and adequate for our stay. Unfortunately the bathroom sink did not drain properly and the bath towels provided were rather small. For the price we were pleased with our stay."

"We have stayed here before. We like the location downtown. We like the historical nature of the hotel. We absolutely did not like the room we were assigned. We shared a wall with the elevator, so we heard that late at night and definitely at 6:30 am when people went down for breakfast. One evening, someone decided to play the lobby piano and have a sing along after 10:00 pm. I couldn't tell the exact time because my head was covered with a pillow in a futile attempt to muffle the noise. In addition. the bed was very uncomfortable, far too soft."

"I had a great stay at Boarders Inn & Suites in Waukon. The hotel is run by a very nice family, and their excellent customer service truly stands out. They were warm, welcoming, and made sure I had everything I needed during my stay. One suggestion that would make the experience even better is adding a laundry room for guests. It would be a helpful convenience, especially for longer stays. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, cleanliness, and the wonderful people who run it."
