"We really enjoyed our stay at Holly Lodge. Our room was lovely, and it was clean and comfortable. It was great having air con in the room. Breakfast was also great. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we’re in the area."

"All areas very clean and tidy, lovely comfy bed with new cotton linens and towels. We stayed in room 8, perfectly clean and comfortable, rooftop view of next-door along with pigeons but that can't be helped, bit of a steep stair climb to top floor, but ok for us, good selection for continental breakfast, perfect location and parking opposite to explore wells, we stayed the 1 night but would stay again if exploring other locations nearby"

"This is a great venue if you wish to be off grid lifestyle. For us it didn’t quite meet our needs as our dog couldn’t manage the staircase & although we thought we had a shower and separate bathroom we only had a bath.
Hot water is at a premium here we found & lacking in water pressure. But truly a great venue if you wish to unplug, & chill.
One recommendation I would make, to help dogs relax. Is to the make the gardens private with privacy screens. The dog next door was barky & uneasy...

"I really enjoyed my stay at this establishment, everything was just how you would want it.
Very helpful staff at check in, lovely room with a seaview, comfy bed, great shower.
Breakfast was lovely, as was the lady serving it. I was checked out by one of the owners, who was very friendly and helpful.
So I can highly recommend The Two Lifeboats!"

"I booked this specifically to include a cooked breakfast as my husband always likes this, unfortunately the breakfast was quite limited, no mushrooms or tomato’s or hash browns or choice of egg. Cereals were limited too and only one flavour of yoghurt. It is a good basic breakfast just not what we were expecting from previous reviews. I would say that the staff were more than helpful and went that extra mile to help with any query, they were all pleasant and friendly and made you very welcome. The rooms were fine and clean, wardrobe space small , but perfectly adequate for a couple of days"
"A lovely 2 night mini break whilst visiting the RHS at Sandringham. We stayed in the Kings Studio which was gorgeous with a roll top bath featured in the bedroom as well as a separate shower room! Bed was lovely and comfortable and a good night’s sleep was had although there was a little noise from the courtyard below with bottles and general bar noises which was to be expected. No breakfast was served mid week at the Wenns although plenty of breakfast spots in the nearby High Street. We had dinner in the Wenns on the first night and the chop of the day was duly ordered and a chicken and tarragon pie for me. The chop was lamb and was delicious I was told although slightly overpriced for the amount of meat on it.
My pie though was delicious and packed with chicken and was duly demolished!
I would recommend the Wenns as a good choice to stay as it is very central and we got car parking just opposite by the stunning Lynn Minster which we also visited. The car park was reasonable and it was easy to keep track of the time on the app."
"Sabina and staff are awesome. The hotel is in a very old, distinguished building. Much of the furniture in the common areas is old. It's worn. It's beautiful. The breakfast is excellent. The rooms are very nice. The bathrooms are large and luxurious for an old stately hotel like this. The location is absolutely the best. It's a 2-minute walk to a very charming town. Beautiful old churches and buildings that sit next to some modern buildings and a very nice mall. 5 Stars all the way"
"We stay here because it is convenient for visiting family. The bed was comfortable however with the high temperature it was difficult to sleep. The fan is not adequate enough to cool down the room.
We have stayed here lots of times however the shower in this room was the worst one that we had."
