"Great breakfast. Perfect downtown location. Very comfortable and safe"

"Room was dirty. Soap and hair in the shower and huge wet spot on the carpet. Sofa bed had most bottom springs missing not usable and the microwave did not work. Notified hotels.com who told me to go speak to the front desk. He said he could do nothing that the manager would be there at 9am. Checked out before 12pm manager not there other employee said he was sorry he could not do anything. I told them to fix the bed before someone got hurt."

"The room was very dirty. Walls were covered in questionable dried substances, food or blood or both. The towels were either stained or not washed, as most had a large brownish stains or marks on them. We woke up to a puddle of brown water in the middle of the room from the mini fridge. Vomit in the stairwell from the night before not cleaned up, the hallways were rank with smoke and weed, cigarette burns on the bedding in a non smoking room. The hard flooring squished underneath your feet so I suspect there is water damage and mildew. The room had a very thick snap smell of rotten eggs and mildew or mold. When we left our room in the morning there was a man sleeping in the hallway right outside or doorway that gave us quite a scare. Felt very unsafe. Truly terrible, aside from friendly staff, although they did not ask how our stay was upon checkout, because I’m sure they ready know the answer. "

"Breakfast bar was nice the staff was awesome especially the bartender. The only problem we had was the shower wate was not hot more like look warm "

"We were very pleased with the Bourbon Capital Inn. The owners are working hard to restore the Inn and have done a great job. Our rooms (yes plural) were on the first floor area, so we were able to park in front of our rooms. There is is a "front" porch area (or veranda) that has very comfortable chairs and tables, which we used in the evenings to sit out and enjoy the mild spring weather. Several other travelers were out on the porch which encouraged some friendly conversations. The staff was very pleasant and attentive to our every need. We are definitely coming back!"

"Fitness room was closed. TV did not work and shower curtain was broken. "

"The room was clean, but the walls between rooms are thin. Additionally, there is nearly a one inch gap between the door and the floor. This means that you are absolutely going to hear neighboring units. For the price, I didn't expect much, but I didn't expect to be woken up several times by random noises from all different rooms on my floor. "
