"This property is a gem for history enthusiasts. It contains a museum of artifacts discovered during renovations and is decorated to match the period it was built in. It is modern and clean however, with modern comforts like new outlets on each side of the bed and at both vanities in the bathroom. The staff were incredible. "This place is nothing like the pictures. The whole place is disgusting. There were stains on the comforter, there was no elevator the smell in that place is awful. The people that rent there apparently rent it monthly and are druggies. The lobby is roped off on one side the carpet is so old it’s like bubbling up in the corners. The stairwell is tile but it’s absolutely disgusting the whole place smells like pee and body odor. I didn’t stay, for obvious reasons, but this was the worse experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. The lady that was working was actually very sweet and apologetic. I’m not sure how that place is even still in business. The parking lot was full of sketchy people, it’s dog friendly but the yard is full of dog poop. I could write a novel on how bad this place was. Best I can say, do NOT stay here"

"Overall an ok hotel but for $235 it wasn’t worth it. The room had a smell and the WiFi didn’t work in my room or anyone’s rooms that we traveled with. It would connect and drop, connect and drop. I informed Expedia and Expedia called the hotel but the front desk guy hung up on them. The breakfast was fantastic though. I won’t stay there again"
