Great location if you visit the glaciers. Hotel is stunning from the outside and very comfortable inside. Bed is good the view is fantastic looking into the open field and ocean. Hotel restaurant has good selections and foods are delicious.
The setting was extraordinary....The little nooks to sit and enjoy the view were very cool...especially the cantilevered section. Food was delicious - - very fresh and tasty
Very nice hotel with an amazing view. The rooms were clean and the sofa bed was fully opened and made with sheets and blankets for our daughter. It was surprisingly very comfortable. The restaurant is very nice as well. The dinner was excellent and the breakfast buffet included a large assortment of options
Everything was clean and nice, we really enjoyed the stay. The rooms were spacious enough and comfortable. Breakfast had nice choices.
Only minor complaint was going into the restaurant. Despite multiple waiters only one would bring you to the table which created some unnecessary waiting time
Definitely my favorite hotel! It was located very close to Diamond Beach/Glacier Bay. Also close to other glaciers and canyons. The happy was wonderful and breakfast was amazing!
Everything about this hotel was great, especially after a long day of driving and sightseeing. The restaurant was wonderful the bathrobe and slippers and sauna really added to a relaxing evening. Great experience.
Hotel is very nice. Great waterfall in back of hotel. Restaurant was excellent - we had both dinner and breakfast. In a remote area so no other food options in the area. The room was clean but very basic and almost cold feeling (not temperature wise as I was actually warm and glad there was a fan in the room to sleep with). One thing that was annoying were the mattresses -two twin beds put together and mattresses were so soft that it was a struggle to turn over.
Top class hotel with great food and very helpful staff. The breakfast buffet was awesome but the set up can be improved. The walking space is narrow, with barely enough spece to squeeze by if someone is picking up food from the buffet station.
We booked a room labeled as 'Glacier view'. In July of 2026, we couldn't see the glacier from our room. The outside view is still very picturesque.
All in all, I recommend this hotel.
Really great location. Food hotel is a very beautiful property with nice views. Restaurant was great with good vegetarian options. Huge room and bathroom
We were driving from Reykjavik to the glacier areas. It was a for plus hour drive. We decided to spend the night out there and couldn't have found a nicer place to stay. They have a short summer window here and we would have been wiser to have booked this some time ago as it was quite pricey. Lovely place, nice people, easy access to the local tourist sights.
