The entire stay was fantastic and the staff were all very friendly, occasional trouble with public transport to get up so take this in to account, but other than that it was an excellent week away!

Cosy hillside retreat

Lovely people run this family owned B&B. Wish we could have stayed longer. Local restaurants and bar very friendly and reasonably priced.

Charming look into the past. No AC but had beautiful mountain air blowing in through windows. It was comfortable at night. We weren’t there during the day. Beds are firm but not all amenities were in tip too shape. WiFi was weeeak. People were friendly. Community too.

Lovely local area - very authentically Italian. However 40 mins drive uphill from main Como lake and city, 25 mins drive to the local lake area advertised on site. Parking extremely difficult as busy with restaurant and the locals. Restaurants/shops nearby are delicious and very cheap in comparison to down in Como. Views are beautiful and the accommodation itself if nice.

This was an “antique” type facility. Very quaint and while it included some nice features, a washing machine (no dryer) the “master bedroom” is an “open loft” and the bathroom is on the first level. All of the beds are very hard and none of the tvs worked.

Enkelt trivsamt familjehotell. Ingen lyx alls men ligger OTROLIGT fint i en liten italiensk by - som ett vykort. Trevlig personal och god enkel mat i restaurangen. Frukost skulle ingå men ena dagen var restaurangen stängd och ingen personal var närvarande. Andra dagen så serverades en enkel frukost med underbar croissant och valfri kaffe, juice och lite bröd och skinka.

Super lieu + super hôtes !

Nos vacances ont été perturbées par un incident de santé, mais les hôtes ont été particulièrement charmants et arrangeants. Leur grande gentillesse nous a fait nous sentir "à la maison" et nous a permis de passer un séjour très agréable malgré tout. Les chambres sont très agréables, grandes et avec tout ce qu'il faut pour y être en totale autonomie. Le lieu aussi est assez unique, en hauteur au cœur d'un petit village super mignon, un peu excentré des points majeurs de ce côté du lac (35 min de Côme, 50 min de Bellagio). Les points de vue sur le lac sur la montée vers Molina sont magiques. Dans l'auberge, il y a un bar, un restaurant en terrasse et une petite épicerie de produits italiens. Encore un très grand merci à Lucia et Flavio notamment pour leur immense gentillesse et leur accueil au top !

Rigtig hyggeligt sted

Alt i alt et rigtig hyggeligt sted. Det var dog lidt besværligt at checke ind, da vi kom mellem 15-17 hvor de holder pause der. Der er lidt langt ned til como søen, men hvis man ikke har noget imod en cykel eller køretur, så er det helt ok. De var rigtig søde, og der var pænt og rent

Amazing apartment in a charming village near Como

We absolutely loved staying at Antica Molina. It was the highlight of our trip to Italy. This was by far the nicest place we stayed in while traveling around Italy. It was so much more than a serviced apartment, it felt like a true home. The decor was vintage in the best possible way. The owner told us that the building dates back to the 1700 hundreds and that he and his family renovated it 25 years ago upon purchase. The kitchen is well stocked, the washer works well and everything was very clean. Our room had two small Juliette balconies that overlooked the quaint town square and church below. It was like something out of a movie. The ground floor houses a restaurant, bar and small market that locals frequent. The owner, and the whole small village, showed us such genuine heartfelt hospitality. The hotel is only accessible by foot but the owner directed us to park in public parking lot about a 1 minute walk away and took our luggage to the door with a mini vehicle he had. In addition to the restaurant on the first floor there was a very authentic family run restaurant and a great pizza place within a 1 minute walk of this hotel. It is situated about 20 minutes from Como by car and a bus stops very close by. This village is on a hill, overlooking the lake with an incredible view. My only regret is that we only got to stay here two nights. If you are looking for an authentic Italian experience this place is for you.

Good small hotel in a quaint mountain village

The hotel is the center of the village thus not accessible by car, though you can park about 3min away. Our apartment was on a second floor with no elevator and very quirky decorated. Not the best window shades and the church (with its bell) is quite close. The breakfast was rather simple but then again inexpensive. Dinner in the restaurant was very good and included a reasonable discount. All in all a good small hotel.
