"Room was clean. Staff were welcoming Breakfast was ok, needs another coffee machine as there were lines every morning. Spa - The sauna wasnt working and in the addititonal package - the steam room wasnt working. Lockers were broken too. Additional package was not worth the additional money."

"All staff were excellent and went out of their way to make our stay as good as they could. Although a modern hotel , it doesn’t really cater for us older generation. Unable to use tv in our rooms, only via apps which we couldn’t use. 1 lift was out of order and the second lift kept failing, so the staff moved us 4 guests to the ground floor. Tv still no good there. It seems to be a business hotel, so not suitable for the visiting Ipswich leisure guest. Due to the difficulties with changing rooms, the bar running out of basic drinks, it spoilt our stay. Thankyou to all the staff for doing your best."

"The staff are very friendly and welcoming,our room was good, let us check in slightly early,our breakfast was nice good continental choices , bright breakfast room if I had to raise some negative comments ,walls are thin could hear next rooms TV till midnight,no vegan sausage at breakfast tea bag marks splashed on wall room 42 😊"

"I have stayed at The White Horse before so it was a joy to return. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, and they remembered me from last year and the year before. The food is superb. I always order rack of ribs, which is a particular favourite of mine and it is always tender. I can thoroughly recommend this establishment. 5 stars all round"

"The room was clean and had everything you needed, great teas and a pod coffee machine. The furniture was semi antique/replica which was fine. Grounds are beautiful and house itself amazing. Dinner was superb. "

"A little dated in decor/condition of carpets and room was cosy but not as clean as I would have expected. Can rate the amenities, food and service etc as arrived late and left before breakfast. Area is beautiful as is the building and surroundings itself. "
