A perfect overnight stop.

We have stayed in the Hotel Normandie many times. It is situated perfectly in the town centre where there is an excellent choice of good restaurants.

Stayed for 1 night in late September 2025. Hotel is ideally located near to some great restaurants and bars. The room was spacious and the breakfast was good. The staff offered to store our two bicycles in the conference room, which was ideal for us on our mini cycling holiday.

We stopped over night on the way to Calais from the Dordogne great position easy parking friendly helpful staff would certainly recommend for an overnight stay. Good choice of restaurants and plenty of bars young community so good entertaining area. There are some lovely buildings to look at the architecture.

Old world charm

Lovely old hotel now looking a little bit dilapidated but really adds to its old world charm. Secure parking at the rear but make sure you get the code to the garage door before you go out - guess how I know! Nice lively town with lots of bars/restaurants

Old building that feels tired but is also quite quaint. The location for the centre town is great and parking is very secure. The room we had had been modernised and was just fine. No aircon in room so if hot it might be uncomfortable. Great for one night stop off if travelling through France as we were.

Could be a great hotel but it needs its restaurant and bar open. We were given good instructions to a great meal at a pub within 5 minutes walk.

Excellent as always. Given a room upgrade to a larger room, very clean and newly refurbished, very comfy bed. Staff helpful and always polite. Fabulous breakfast, great selection.

A nice budget hotel in a nice town with a rustique charme. The breakfast buffet comprises typical french bread, eggs you can boil yourself, different kinds of cheese. There should be something for everyone. Cars can be parked on the premisses of the hotel and the gate is closed during nights. We enjoyed our stay and might come again if we are going to Nomandie again.

Great room nr 1 at the back on the ground floor. However, the rooms at the 2nd floor at the front are hot & noisy because of busy traffic. Perhaps some airconditioning could solve the problem, then you can keep the windows closed and the noise out and still have a cool temparature

Convenient and characterful

This is a traditional hotel, very convenient for the centre of Evreux. The rooms are around a courtyard and are reached by a steep staircase. The room was modern and clean, spacious and with a good sized bathroom. The Wi-Fi initially offered was unsecured, so my iPad would not allow me to use it. The helpful receptionist gave me a more secure link, but the signal was not good. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed when I stayed, but there are good reports of it when it has been open.
