"Nice clean place with super nice staff. The shower, toilet situation is real awkward. Only a clear glass door for the toilet, and none on the tiny, weirdly shaped shower. No wash clothes or conditioner. Be aware there's no ac, and the street is really loud so sleeping at night can be tough if it's warm out. It's also about a 30 minute walk from city center and restaurants."

"We had a lovely stay at the hotel, with the pool and spa area being the real highlight. The indoor/ outdoor pools were lovely, and the surrounding gardens were beautiful. Our room was nice, and the dinner staff were friendly. We had an evening meal at the hotel and enjoyed it. We did find the cost of the meal quite expensive, but there are limited restaurant options nearby. One thing we did feel was disappointing was the cost of breakfast. Given the price of the hotel, we felt breakfast should have been included rather than charged separately. As it was quite expensive, we decided not to have breakfast there. Unfortunately, our main negative was the check-in experience. The blonde lady who checked us in was extremely rude and provided very little information. We felt as though we were an inconvenience to her. Having travelled a long distance, we were both excited and looking forward to our stay, so it was disappointing to receive such an unfriendly welcome.The lady who checked us out was much more helpful and explained areas of the hotel that we hadn’t known about and probably should have been told about at check-in.I wish I had taken the name of the lady who checked us in, as it really did put a dampener on our arrival. Having since read other reviews mentioning similar experience, I wonder if it may have been the same member of staff.Later in the day after check out we handed back a key at reception and it was the blonde woman, she kept us waiting before she dealt with us."
