"My kids love the set up way too much. They cried out loud when we check out... All amenities and facilities are well equipped. Though the hotel is located above a seafood restaurant, which leaves the smell around the apartment quite strong, it becomes a pro while we can actually enjoy the seafood served by the restaurant downstair easily and conveniently in our room. Lotte Hotel Busan

6/10 Okay

"For a 5-star hotel, the room and hotel building itself did not meet expectations. The room was outdated, with repairs and maintenance in the room visible and left me with the feeling of old and dirty. The hallways stunk. We stayed on the 20th floor and the elevators took a long time because it was servicing other floors (businesses) to non-guests. The only nice area was the lobby to walk through. The location was good since it had direct entry to the mall. The staff were great too."

"This is definitely a 5 star hotel that meets expectations. Great location on the beach. The main building beach view room was very nice; the breakfast buffet was great; and when the amenities were open (hot tubs, gym, etc.), I enjoyed them. The only downside was there was work being done on the gym and hot tubs for one of the two days I was there, so there should have been some sort of refund. Likely not something everyone will experience though as I can’t imagine they are frequently closed, so I’d definitely come back."

"It was difficult to find a room option for Shilla Stay on Expedia which fully met our needs so we opted for the one which closest fit our wish for sea views. There’s something about waking up to the sight of the sea and the views from the room did not disappoint. We had a lovely stay! There’s a telephone based queuing system for check in which did not accept uk numbers. Thankfully, one of the staff stepped in quickly."
