Lakeside Inn

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel was very clean and the grounds around were well maintained. It has a beautiful lake behind it and the room we stayed in had had a great view of the lake. There was a live band in the bar the first night we ata there that we could here in our r"

enVision Hotel Boston Everett

10/10 Excellent

"I want to shout out Willyam who works on the front desk, he was awesome - always super helpful and friendly. The hotel is very clean, rooms are a good size and have everything you need with comfy beds! The location was great too - only 15 mins from the airport and 15 mins from downtown in a taxi. Chelsea station was a 15 minute walk too and easy to catch a bus if you prefer public transport. Boston is a great city to visit - we added Salem to our trip and tgat was great fun too. I would totally recommend this hotel."

Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Boston - Peabody by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"The building and rooms were clean and well maintained. The elevator near our room was out of order all 3 nights we were there, so we had to walk quite a ways to get in and out since my husband is handicapped and can't use the stairs. Wish they would have offered a free breakfast to make the stay perfect."

Doubletree By Hilton Boston Logan Airport Chelsea

8/10 Good

"There was mold in the shower, there was also mold in the guests room next to ours. I also don’t understand why we stayed in a Hampton Inn by Hilton just like the Doubletree is by Hilton and the Hampton breakfast was free. I had to pay $20 for the same exact continental breakfast at the Doubletree! That was a huge rip off because we are paying almost $400 per night, plus pay for a $20 continental breakfast and $20 a night for parking."

The Cove At Salem

10/10 Excellent

"The facility appears to be new and exceptionally clean. The rooms a large with comfortable furniture. The bathrooms are well equipped and clean. You get a combination code for your room which is nice. No need to keep track of a key. There is plenty of parking for now but more rooms are being built. Cell phone service (at least Verizon) is TERRIBLE around the hotel. They have WIFI that works fairly well in the evening, but I found that when the staff is in the office, WIFI performance degrades a great deal. I don't know what they are doing to sap the bandwidth. For television, they provide Roku boxes on TVs. You can use your home account to access whatever streaming service that is supported by Roku. Just make sure you delete the quick access link which is supposed to delete your personal streaming accounts. If you're looking at going into Salem for the museums, etc., it is about a 20 minute walk. The sidewalks are very uneven, so the walk could be troublesome for those with walkers and canes. For restaurants and stores, that 20 minute walk is necessary. There is a breakfast place with 4 or 5 tables that you can reach within 10 minutes by walking. The staff pointed out they have something called "Skipper" for transportation and provided a phone number. They really should have mentioned the need to set up an account with Skipper before trying to arrange a ride. A map of the area should also be provided at the hotel. Some are free at the attractions."
