Never stayed here before - very chic and modern - big rooms, lots of nooks and sitting areas and nice bar & breakfast service.

Beautiful hotel with comfortable rooms. The staff are incredible and helpful. Public transportation, cafes, and grocery stores are walkable. Highly recommend for anyone traveling in the area.

Unexpected gem!

We were blown away at how great this place was. It is so super wonderful. It is a great boutique hotel! The breakfast was amazing. The room was VERY comfortable! I highly recommend this spot!

We stayed for the Taylor Swift concert and the rooms were so cool!!! Love the concept and how clean the hotel is. Only down side is the shower wall to the room is glass, not a lot of privacy. There is nothing around the hotel at all.

Sfeervol hotel op UNESCO werelderfgoed

Mooi hotel, toepasselijk ingerichte kamer, prachtig gelegen op het Zeche Zollverein terrein, dichtbij de bezienswaardigheden daar en de restaurants. Prima parkeergelegenheid. Goed bereikbaar. Ook mooie uitvalsbasis voor de overige Ruhrgebied plaatsen.

Wir waren für eine Nacht zu Gast. Was wir irritierend fanden: Obwohl wir das Zimmer schon bezahlt hatten, mussten wir eine Kreditkarte hinterlegen. Die Dame an der Rezeption versicherte uns, es würde nichts belastet. Sekunden später gingen 50€ vom Konto ab. Dann hieß es, das würde ja später zurückgebucht und sei ja normal. Mag ja sein - wurde aber schlecht erklärt. Das Zimmer war hübsch. Im Badezimmer fehlten aber Haken o.ä., um die Handtücher aufzuhängen. Es gab lediglich an der Badtür einen Doppelhaken, aber nicht einmal einen für das Hände-Handtuch. Im Zimmer gab es eine Nespresso Maschine. An sich eine tolle Sache. Aber leider gab es nur eine Kaffee-Kapsel, was etwas ungünstig ist, wenn das Zimmer mit 2 Personen belegt ist. Insgesamt schön, aber mit Luft nach oben.

Tolles modernes Hotel das sich perfekt an die Zeche Zollverein angepasst hat von der Geschichte und man kann das Gelände super erkunden. Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und es war toll das es das sonntags bis 12 Uhr gab. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir kamen, sahen und das Hotel siegte!!! Was für ein Ambiente! Das ist mit Abstand das tollste Hotel in dem ich jemals war! Die Rezeption dauernd besetzt die Mitarbeiter sind Menschen. Ich hoffe man versteht was ich damit sagen will. Die Einrichtung einfach wow und so Mega passend zur Zeche. Das Haus ist einfach ein Hit ein voller Glücks Treffer. Ich muss unbedingt noch mal hin. Das Frühstück ich habe sowas noch nie gesehen. Nein das muss man erleben. Echter Wabenhonig Müsli Sorten und Müsli Schnickschnack ich konnte es nicht zählen De Rujter Schoko Streusel aus Holland 20 Sorten??? Winzige Joghurts winzig gewürfelter Obstsalat. Das Buffet eine reine Augenweide. Das muss man wirklich erleben!

Eins gleich vorweg, das gesamte Personal ist, von der Rezeption bis zum Service, Küche usw., stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man hat immer ein nettes Wort und ein Lächeln für den Gast übrig. Zimmer: praktisch eingerichtet, Betten bequem, Sitzmöglichkeit und großer TV vorhanden Nachteil: keine Infomappe z.B. für Klimaanlage/Heizung, keine Kühlmöglichkeit z.B. für Getränke, Lichtschaltung im Bad Nachteilig da der erste Schalter hinter der Tür das Licht in der Dusche anschaltet vor allem Nachts sehr ungünstig da es in der Dusche ein kleines Fenster zum Zimmer gibt, kein separater Schminkspiegel im Bad, zu wenig Haken für Handtücher, vor allem feuchte Duschhandtücher kann man schlecht unterbringen Hotel: gute Einteilung der öffentlichen Räumlichkeiten, Bar 24 Std. geöffnet, gemütliche Sitzecken mit Gesellschaftsspielen vorhanden, Frühstück in Ordnung, aber mit 19,50 EUR pro Person überteuert. Abendessen wird als Dinner Buffet angeboten, aber auch hier halte ich 29,50 EUR pro Person für zu viel. ACHTUNG: Samstag und Sonntag gibt es kein Abendessen ! Hier kann man in näherer Umgebung z.B. im "the Mine" oder "Mezzo Mezzo" einkehren, das schont auch den Geldbeutel. Für den Parkplatz werden 10 EUR pro Tag berechnet. Fazit: Wer das Welterbe Zollverein ausgiebig erkunden möchte, der ist hier gut aufgehoben, da man alles zu Fuß erreichen kann. Aus diesem Grund haben wir das Hotel gewählt. Bei Expedia wurde als Frühstückspreis übrigens 14,50 EUR angezeigt !

Schöne Einrichtung und Ambiente, direkt an dem Gelände der Zeche Zollverein. Verhältnismäßig teuer - auch das gute Frühstück und der Parkplatz wenn man sich die Hotelpreise in der Stadt anschaut, aber dafür muss man abends nicht mehr fahren.

Die Zimmer sind sehr stylisch aber nicht jedermann mag eine gläserne Toilette und ein Bett, wo ein Partner über den anderen klettern muss.. Haken im Bad sind Mangelware , eine Lampe am Bett wäre vorteilhaft. Das Hotel außen mit Namen auszuzeichnen wäre hilfreich, so steht man zweifelnd davor. Ansonsten ist die Lage zur Zeche Zollverein top, die Leute sind hilfsbereit und nett, die Atmosphäre ist sehr angenehm. Vielleicht etwas überteuert im Preis/Leistungsverhältnis
