For a bargain hotel, an absolutely splendid deal. The building is made out of cement was the quietest hotel in my entire 16 days and 4 major cities in Europe. The view was fantastic ,quiet neighborhood, and a nice restaurant within minutes. also, the rooms were a decent size.

We enjoyed our stay. Fun hotel, great staff, wonderful bar / restaurant on the top floor with an amazing view. The shared kitchen could have had more basic staples such as salt, oil and more cutlery… but not a dealbreaker in the slightest. If I return to Esbjerg I would definitely stay there again.

Loved this architectural gem

I chose the hotel for two reasons - because of its architecture/design and because of the position close to Esbjerg parkrun for Saturday morning! It delivered on both. We absolutely loved everything about the hotel. We were on the 14th floor and had a great view over the parkland and stadium to the back. The room was great, and every room having a balcony is brilliant. The room design was brilliant. We walked to parkrun on Saturday morning and then because they don’t have a cafe nearby we went back to the hotel for a buffet breakfast which was excellent and is served up to 10.30. We arrived at about ten past ten but weren’t rushed in any way but in fact encouraged to try things from the brunch buffet which was coming out (including bubbles - sadly we were driving so couldn’t avail of that!). A really great stay and we would definitely stay again if in Esbjerg.

Nice hotel, rooms are clean and fitted with a fridge, small kitchen and bathroom. The sink is the bathroom is really unhandy. It’s placed in the corner, very small and you are unable to wash your face. And the bathroom did not look the same as in the photos. Staff was really friendly and if you are there with the kids the nearby pool is nice.

Das Hotel bedarf einer differenzierten Bewertung: die Anreise mit dem Auto war bequem und die kostenlosen Parkmöglichkeiten vor dem Hotel super. Auch der Check-in war problemlos und freundlich. Das Zimmer allerdings überzeugte uns nicht so sehr. Auf den ersten Blick natürlich praktisch eingerichtet und modern, aber durch die Architektur des Gebäudes bedingt heizte es sich sehr stark auf. Es war ein Tag mit 22Grad und wir empfanden es nachts im Zimmer als sehr unangenehm warm. Dazu kamen die für unseren Geschmack kleinen Betten. Wir hatten 2 Einzelbetten, die zusammengeschoben waren (lag an der Gestaltung des Raumes, sonst hätte man die Balkontür nicht öffnen können), weswegen einer von uns hineinkrabbeln musste, da sie nur von einer Seite zu erreichen waren. Dazu kam, dass die Decken extrem dick waren, was bei den sommerlichen Temperaturen so gar keinen Sinn gemacht hat. Der Schlaf war dann auch leider wenig erholsam, da das Hotel sehr hellhörig ist und man die Spülung aus anderen Zimmern, sowie die schwer ins Schloss knallenden Zimmertüren deutlich spürte. Dazu kam, dass das Geländer des Balkons (architektonisch bedingt) nach außen zeigte , sodass man sich beim Betreten des Balkons nicht daran festhalten konnte, es sei denn, man würde draufklettern. Das mag für viele Menschen kein Problem sein, aber wenn man Probleme mit Höhe hat, ist das vielleicht relevant.
