"Ravello has been my favourite stop on our Amalfi coast trip. It was less crowded with tourists than Positano and Sorrento. The hotel was perfect for our stay with a beautiful sea view. "This was mine and my wife’s second stay at the stunning Hotel Raito on the Amalfi coast. Just a 45min taxi from Naples and couldn’t be situated in a more breathtaking part of the coastline. The hotel and its staff are 5* all the way, so attentive and caring with nothing too much trouble, Giovani at the pool bar, Carmelo and Kate at the lobby and Ido the waiter all made our stay so special. The rooms and views within are simply stunning. Superb food choices at the hotel restaurants and the handy free shuttle bus from the hotel into the local village of Vietri is another must with lots of choices of shops bars and restaurants as well as the beach."

"The hotel is on the coast line and is lovely, rooms could do with a bit of updating. Staff friendly and can speak English. It’s a 15 minute walk up a hill to the town for restaurants and shops - buses don’t seem to run in the evenings. So maybe not a good choice if you have travellers with mobility concerns. Old town centre is very pretty. There is not much for kids to do though. Also, I didn’t take into account that the hotel charge for the ‘private beach’. It’s not actually a beach, but a decking into the water. This is 15 euros per day, per person. 20 euros at weekend. Apparently this is cheap …. There is a free public beach which is 15 mins walk down the hill. It’s a bit of a squeeze but ok for kids. This is probably more of a hotel for couples than families."

"Our stay at this apartment in Maiori was absolutely wonderful! The apartment was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The highlight was the breathtaking ocean view. Waking up each morning and enjoying coffee while overlooking the sparkling Mediterranean was unforgettable. The location was perfect—close enough to walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops, yet peaceful enough to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the Amalfi Coast. The host was welcoming, responsive, and made sure every detail was taken care of, making us feel right at home. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Maiori. We hope to return again soon!"

"Our stay was superb from start to finish. The property is situated on a beautiful cliff overlooking the sea. The accommodation is surrounded by lovely flora and fauna. Upon arrival, Illinia, the property manager, warmly greeted us with a tour of our beautiful suite, beautifully decorated with local ceramics. We had a small fridge that was well stocked with refreshing beverages and snacks. As we sat on our private balcony that overlooked the Sea we enjoyed the light breezes and fresh aromatic air, and we decided we arrived in heaven!Every morning we were presented a delicious breakfast of fresh fruits and vegetables, local meats and cheeses, assortments of pastries and lovely coffees, espresso and cappuccinos to dine on at the beautiful spacious common patio. The beach down below was fun with lots of lunch places to enjoy fresh seafood. The water was clean and blue and very refreshing. In the evening, we sat at our patio, sipping wine and overlooking the blue moon. As a former innkeeper and traveler, I believe that this property has everything one would want while visiting the Amalfi."

"Love, love, love this place. Hosts were super accommodating and responsive. San bonaventura was just lovely, perfect for a family of 4, with quirky decor. It was clean, well laid out, bathroom and kitchen areas had everything we needed. We all fell in love with the view, the peace, the shady gardens. Fabulous plants (delicious lemons, perfect for hot drinks), ornaments tiles. Lots of steps (we were warned!) but well built and lit. A real treasure that we delighted in discovering."
