"We loved the hotel. So nice to be out of the hustle and bustle of Venice centre but still very easy to jump on the train and be there in 20 minutes via the hotel shuttle bus. Staff are so friendly and helpful and we had a lovely time there. We borrowed the hotel bikes to ride along the riverside and it was fantastic. The only thing is, and we didn't mind at all, but we planned our days around what time the shuttle bus ran as it only runs at certain times. Not a negative, just a consideration if you didn't want to walk back from the station (less than half an hour walk)."

"If you want to go to Venice but not be in the expensive and overcrowded San Marco Square area, this is an excellent choice. The Lido is quiet and civilised, the boat ride to San Marco Square in only ten minutes. The staff at this hotel are extraordinary! The reception staff was helpful and spoke perfect English and knew the answers to all our questions."

"This is a great option to avoid the hellish crowds in Venice proper. The staff were absolutely wonderful and the room was HUGE. It was old-not updated at all. But it was not run down. The shower is TINY so keep in mind if you are a larger human. The island is charming and vibrant. The coffee shack a few blocks down was amazing and a sneaky nighttime surprise of energy. The food at the restaurant is fine. They could use better cocktail choices in the upstairs bar."

"The hotel sits at the turn-around point of a bus route, off the beaten path. Its room is clean and the included buffet breakfast is fabulous! Lots of tasty options. When we arrived, it was late and the AC was not working. The staff came to help us fix it quickly. The pool is also clean."

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Diana and would definitely stay here again. The property was very clean and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and welcoming during both check-in and check-out. It was especially helpful that the staff spoke English, which made communication easy. The location was fantastic! The beach was just a short walk away, and there were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, making it very convenient for our family. The rooms were spacious and kid-friendly, which we really appreciated. The breakfast bar was delicious and offered a great variety of food options, so everyone in our group was able to find something they enjoyed. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that the rooms felt a bit outdated, and the beds were firmer than we prefer. Other than that, we had a great experience and would happily stay here again."
