"Really great location next to lots of restaurants and 5 mins to the train station. I had a room at the back of the property so no noise from the streets but the walls are thin and the neighbours talking could be heard quite well.
Bed is comfy, staff are nice. My only gripe is that I get really cold at night and the air con wouldn't go that high (I need it toasty!), nor could I switch the fan off so ended up cold. For most, probably not a problem but I was cold. But I'd happily stay again. The restaurant is pretty decent as well and cheaper than a lot of other places to eat at."
"Stayed in this hotel for a wine trip. 5 out of the 6 members of the group chose to stay here and we were all very happy with the accommodations. Room was clean & spacious, staff was friendly & breakfast was delicious. The water pressure in the shower was also amazing. Would definitely recommend to fellow travelers and will be staying here again in the future!"
"I was looking forward to returning it Hotel de la Paix having stayed here in 1995. My expectations were more than exceeded. The hotel is beautifully appointed, the staff are courteous and helpful, and the location is central and accessible to all that Reims has to offer "
"I booked this hotel for my (non-French speaking) parents (mid-70's). The staff was lovely, they really liked their room, and on an otherwise noisier section of Reims, they felt the room was quiet and got a good night's rest. This area of Reims is a 10 min walk to the cathedral and quite centrally located. "
"Would rate the stay 10 stars if we could! The entire property is a dream blend of modernity and historic charm; the staff was so accommodating and helpful and welcoming. You simply cannot beat the location as well on the Avenue de Champagne. I will dream about our stay here for many years to come and we cannot wait to return!"
"This hotel is in a good location for the champagne Avenue it is just a 5 min walk away. The staff are not very customer focused and gave no information without being asked. Breakfast is ok if you like continental but do not use the egg warmer it takes 15 minutes for an egg to be cooked. The toaster is up to high for short people like me to be able to us ethe tongs to retrive it. The spaces is very limited and when busy you can wait for a while to get a cup of coffee or tea. The big one was no air con in the room as it was still the cold season so the reception man said so no aircon just heat. when we went the weather during the day was very hot and so the room on the 1st floor was very hot and opening a window when there is no breeze was pointless."
"Excellent!! The hotel is beautiful and comfortable. We stayed for two nights while visiting champagne houses. The absolute best breakfast we’ve ever had at a hotel! Over the top delicious with champagne cake, too! Absolutely recommend. Some rooms do not have elevator access so be prepared to carry luggage up many stairs."
