Excellent B&B

Great welcome by Frances with tea, coffee and cake. Lovely comfortable room and great choice for breakfast. The views are lovely across to the mountains. It’s a shame we were only travelling through and stayed just one night.

Comfortable and Peaceful rest

We found this accommodation comfortable and peaceful. Our host was fantastic and really tried to make our stay nice. We did have issues with the WiFi but besides that it was very comfortable.

Melvin Country House

Melvin Country House was in an excellent location, with really spacious, clean rooms. Frances was very welcoming and accommodated an earlier check in for me. The breakfast was fabulous and I would highly recommend this place as base for visiting the various sites around Fermanagh and Donegal

Beautiful

The Melvin country house was a fabulous place to stay in the Lakeland area. It is very conveniently located. And it offers a cook to order breakfast as well as having a restaurant available for lunch and dinner. The owners were very friendly and very helpful. The room was spotless and check-in was seamless, the room and bathroom were both good sized and easy to move around in.

Fabulous!

Frances & Martin are the loveliest people, I really enjoyed my stay, Matilda the Rottweiler also loved her stay, she was so comfortable on her bed! Very relaxed enviroment, the food was excellent as was the service, I would highly recommend to anyone! I will definitely be back!

Fabulous.

Another lovely stay at Melvin House. As always the room was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. The welcome here is incredibly warm both from two-legged and four-legged family members and the breakfasts are delicious. I love this part of the country and Melvin House continues to be my accommodation of choice in the area. Excellent value for money, thank you all for a wonderful stay.

Superb accommodation and great value in a lovely rural setting close to Garrison and Belleek with their eating options. Excellent room with comfortable bed and well equiped. It also clean and quiet. There were plenty of options for breakfast, I had a cooked breakfast done to perfection. The hostess was very helpful and accommodating, i've stayed here a few times and always gave me a good welcome with tea/coffee and tourist information. A great place for a getaway in a lovely part of Fermanagh.

An abdolute gem

A last minute decision to take an overnight stay somewhere and i could not have found anywhere better than here. From the moment i arrived, when greeted with "would you like a vup of tea" to the moment i chevked out it was fabulous. The room was really comfortable and lots of room The food was divine. Frances was an excellent host. When next in the area i will definitely stay again.

Melvin Country House ticks all the boxes. The moment we arrived we felt at home with a very friendly greeting from Martin and a pot of tea. As it was a Sunday the restaurant wasn’t open but he helped us out with a place to go for winner and drinks, even offering to drive us. The rooms are very comfortable with tea & coffee making facilities, comfortable bed and we could enjoy the lounge with a glass of wine after our dinner out. Our breakfast was cooked to order and delicious, especially the plunger coffee. Highly recommend this guest house
