Bed was comfortable; however, I would invest in real pillows or definitely bring your own. Overall we had a lovely stay. The elevator did breakdown once but was fixed within 24 hours. "A really well kept house and property. Our room was large and bathroom was modern. It was very comfortable. Good wifi throughout. No breakfast option, but you can make use of the kitchen. The host communicated well. We were asked to make our full payment by bank transfer soon after booking. This may seem odd for people from some countries and cause for concern, but is apparently normal in Germany."

"the ladies in the front desk have to learn how to receive the customeers, they were rude & did give information about the hotel like: opening hours of the restaurant & the spa. we complained that the water in the shower don't run out. 3 days they did not fixe it. they do cleaning once in 2 days' the room was not clean - we put the sign of clening, they did not clean. one of soap bootle was empty- they did not replace a new one....... "

"We had another wonderful stay at Hotel Bayerischer Hof — just as on our previous visits. The service was warm and attentive, the breakfast was EXZELLENT, and the atmosphere of the hotel is so charming and inviting. It really feels like a home away from home, and we always appreciate the care the staff puts into making guests feel welcome. The only downside this time was that our room faced the church, and the bells were very loud, ringing every hour. Even every 15min.— Also late night and early in the morning. Unfortunately, this did disturb our sleep quite a bit. That said, we still truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend the hotel. For light sleepers, it might be worth requesting a room that does not face the church. Thank you again to the whole team — we’re looking forward to coming back!"

"Reception on floor 1, but check-in was in the restaurant/bar on floor 0. Took a bit to figure this out. Air conditioning was struggling to cool the room--probably due to dirty filters (there wasn't much airflow)--but the neighborhood was quite quiet and the night air was cool which allowed us to cool the room quickly just by opening the windows. Great place to stay right in the heart of this charming town!"
