"I searched diligently trying to find a reasonably priced hotel close to the beach, with good reviews, short walking distance to good coffee shops and restaurants, in a safe area, and was exceptionally fortunate to stumble upon the Leucadia Beach Inn! The staff was very helpful with my late check-in, very accommodating with my parking spot, and the room was very comfy and clean. I will be sure to book another stay soon on my next trip to San Diego!"

"This place is under construction, and there are noise most of the day. My water was shutoff for 2 hours. My room was not cleaned the second day. Afterward, I was told that I should have requested that at the check in time. This place is close to the railroad, and you hear trains passing by most of the day (not nights). In addition, there was road construction in the street. Overall, for the price was ok."

"Sofa bed was broken in our room, kids had to sleep on floor. Ran out of clean bath towels and pool towels, housekeeping forgot to wash them according to front desk. Lack of staff im assuming. Mini frige didn't keep cold enough. Ocean hiew was more of Partial ocean view. Emailed GM 4 day's ago with my concerns and credit request, have not heard back (of course) poorly managed place. Would not recommend or stay here again. "
