"The accomodation was very nice and very comfortable. I was only staying for one night. The owner could not of been more thoughtful. She recommended some nice pubs for an evening meal which were fine. My only problem was that there was no television and the WiFi was intermittent so I was at a bit of a loss how to keep occupied. "

"Jenny was a wonderful host. She was very welcoming and offered us a cup of tea on our arrival. Our room was very spacious and had lovely views of the countryside. Breakfast was delicious, cereals and cooked options. The location was excellent, only 5 minutes from very good restaurants as well as the Bombay Sapphire distillery. We were there mainly to go to Highclere which was only a 10 minute drive away. We had a wonderful stay!"

"For the price it's a good hotel and it's improved over the years, it's a little dated but clean, spacious, good food, the lady who looks after the area at breakfast always keeps the place spotless and inviting, and the breakfast choice is great so much to choose from. Free parking and a gym

with steam room and sauna for a little extra money. I have visited a few time now and visit with family, staff can be polite and professional and others a bit hit and miss i.e a bit moody on isolated...
